A beginner trek. Without a trek pole, trek could be difficult since trail got high steps than Tungnath and Chandrashila trail. One can experience beautiful view of himalayas and a serene lake surrounded by forest.

beginner trek (5-6 hours) with an awsome view on the top. i would recommend to carry food and water. stay there till evening. sunlight and snow covered peaks all around. huge lawn on the top to relax.

Deorital is just a 2 hr hike from sari village , there are many small cafes on the way to top so no need to carry any eateries or water bottle Open year around Do not throw plastic or wrappers, if u see any pick it up Keep the place clean Very peaceful and beautiful at top Sit there and enjoy the view of chaukambha peak

Deoria Tal (also Devaria or Deoriya) is a lake about 3 km (1.9 mi) from the villages of Mastura and Sari on the Ukhimath-Chopta road in the state of Uttarakhand in India. Situated at an altitude of 2,438 metres (7,999 ft) in the Garhwal Himalayas, it has heavily wooded, lush green surroundings with snow-covered mountains (Chaukhamba being one of them) in the backdrop. It is sacred to the vast population of India, such as the Hindus, Jains, Buddhists and Sikhs and other sects.

Hardly 2 hour hike from Sari village . But one can trek from this lake to chopta that’s more adventurous

Beautiful Trek, Beautiful Lake, Beautiful View if less cloudy because you would not be able to see the mountains reflection in the lake if cloudy, no crowd and peaceful . Entry fees for the lake is around 150 rs, if you are a student and an old citizen then you can get some discount of 50% or more. . The trek is around 2.5km and clean, plenty of options in between to eat and drink. You can complete the trek in 1.5-2.5 hours and options of Ponies are also there. . I am not giving 5 stars because The lake was beautiful but not what I expected but still worth a short trek to do. . To reach here you have to reach Sari Village first, from there only the trek starts. To reach Sari you can tak a personal cab from ukhimath or chopta that will take around 600-800. And if you are going in the morning 5-6 am then you might get a shared cab for around 50-60 rs but for this you need to confirm there because on Sundays the shared taxi service is off .
